The speckled yarn is hand-dyed in NJ, on a white base with green and black speckles. The undyed white lace is Virginia-raised wool, from a farm near Luray caverns. The undyed black is from an alpaca farm in Fauquier County, Corey of a handsome boy named Tarheel.
The lightweight yarn used in this shawl allows you to wear this asymmetrical wrap flat with a pin for a fashionable accessory without all of the bulk. For a cooler weather accessory, gather the shawl around your neck for an alternative to a scarf that makes a statement.
