Looking to shop super local in the PNW? These wool ear warmers are hand knit wool farmed in Washington, Oregon, Idaho, or northern California.
Description
Looking to shop super local? These merino ear warmers are part of my new PNW collection, featuring fibers grown, farmed or hand-dyed in Washington, Oregon, Idaho, or Northern California.
These headbands are hand knit from PNW wool, and may be either natural colors (usually white, cream, brown, gray, or black) or hand-dyed.
Wool is a soft fiber, known for its warmth and moisture wicking properties. Because wool can hold up to 30% of its weight in moisture without ever feeling wet, these make excellent outdoorsy gifts for the hiker or other outdoor enthusiast in your life!
These headbands are hand knit with a chunky cable pattern and finished with a twist to give a polished and trendy look, so they’re also an appropriate accessory for the office. Keep warm and cozy without the messy hat hair!
They’re somewhat stretchy, so one size will fit most teens and adults. Unlike synthetic fibers, wool fibers have memory, so it won’t stretch to distortion.
Note that these are not adjustable. If you’re looking for adjustable headbands/ear warmers, please see my other listing: https://hoaglandhandmade.com/product/hand-dyed-merino-adjustable-ear-warmers/
Care: hand wash cold, lay flat to dry.
