Hand-dyed alpaca, fingering weight yarn, blues

These hand-dyed alpaca hanks of fingering weight yarn come from a Virginia alpaca farm!  I love this farm because each skein of yarn is identified by the animal who provided the fleece.

Lightning is the alpaca whose fleece is featured in this luxury yarn, perfect for a delicate knitting, crochet, or weaving project. His gorgeous fleece has an almost silky appearance and takes dye beautifully!

These hanks are an 90/10 Alpaca/Merino fingering weight yarn. These natural yarn skeins are 2 ply, approximately 4 oz., with about 250 yards per skein

Gauge: 7 stitches/inch US3

Note: these hanks of yarn are hand-dyed and there is no dye lot. If you plan to use multiple skeins in the same project, I suggest alternating skeins to avoid drastic changes in color. The overall appearance will be a gorgeous tonal product!
